Polished, refined, and constantly nursing a new headache, Clement Montworth is the long-suffering noble landlord of the workshop. With an ever-rotating door of Master and crew, Clement has overseen his successful shop plummet to despair, then rise again to glory, with all manner of troubles, scandals, and dramatic love affairs – the latter probably being the most exasperating to Clement, for all the complications they cause.
And they haven’t gone unnoticed.
Though it has retained its success ever since Valkilmar and Fenella’s days of restoring it, the workshop seemingly churns out just as much drama and gossip as it does profit. According to Clement and his own words, ever since he hired that half-elf barbarian his shop has seen more liaisons than the Moonstone Mask.
Indeed the workshop has developed an unlikely reputation for finding romance. Or trouble. Or both.
Fortunately for Clement, it doesn’t seem to have hurt business. Rather, the rumor mill seems to keep people interested and the workshop relevant.
Of course, that doesn’t stop the migraines when Clement hears what the latest entanglement has led to.
But, for all he endures, Clement is actually quite patient and cuts the crew a generous amount of slack. Although he does have a breaking point where he can become rather contemptuous and snappish. Most of the time he’s just trying to smooth things over and provide damage control.
And with a workshop as enthralling as his, it would seem his job is never done.
